David B. Biebel is a minister, author, and editor. He holds the Doctor of Ministry degree in Personal Wholeness (with distinction) from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in South Hamilton, Massachusetts. He edited the Christian Medical & Dental Associations’ flagship journal Today’s Christian Doctor from 1992 to 2011. Prior to that he edited the Focus on the Family Physician magazine. He joined the staff of Florida Hospital’s Publishing division as Managing Editor in 2011.
Dr. Biebel has authored or co-authored nineteen books, including one bestseller: If God Is So Good, Why Do I Hurt So Bad? Other books of which he is sole author include: Jonathan, You Left Too Soon and How to Help a Heartbroken Friend. Collaborative projects include the Gold Medallion winner New Light on Depression, Finding Your Way after the Suicide of Someone You Love, Simple Health, 70 Ways to Beat 70, Your Mind at Its Best, and 50 Ways to Feel Great Today.
Biebel has been a guest on scores of radio and TV programs nationwide. He has authored or collaborated on numerous magazine articles and several book segments. He often speaks in workshops, seminars, and conference settings on the theme of breaking through loss to find renewal and joy again.
His goal in all his health-related endeavors is to help people attain and retain optimal physical, emotional, spiritual, and relational health so they can love the Lord with their whole heart, soul, mind, and strength, and their neighbors as themselves.
